At 6:53 AM Sunday morning, the Louisville Fire Department (LFD) responded to a church fire at the 3700 Block of West Broadway. Crews arrived within two minutes to find heavy fire. Due to hazardous conditions, defensive operations began within ten minutes.A second alarm and additional equipment were called, with over 50 firefighters bringing the fire under control in 1.5 hours. No injuries were reported, and searches of the structure were negative.The LFD Arson Unit is investigating the cause. |
