None of those upsets were more stunning than previously winless UCLA's 42-37 victory over No. 7 Penn State. The Bruins became the first team since 1985 to beat a top-10 opponent while boasting a record of 0-4 or worse. It also snapped Penn State's 34-game winning streak against unranked opponents, a new low in the James Franklin era.

No. 17 Alabama secured a 24-21 win over No. 5 Georgia and No. 6 Oregon upset No. 3 Penn State with a 30-24 victory in double-overtime to cap an epic Saturday.
